Frequently asked questions

1. What areas of research does your organization conduct?
The Institute of Systems Engineering mainly conducts qualitative research, such as developing models of the functioning of "human-centered" systems, such as families, schools, hospitals, and societies, which are composed of people and carry out specific purposeful activities, and analyzing and diagnosing the rules and regulations that regulate their activities. It also works to develop definitions of terms that are used in everyday communication, but that can be interpreted differently by each person from their own perspective, thereby creating conflicts.
2. Please provide a brief description of the research method?
As for the research method, the methods based on the "Basic Theory and Principles of Social Systems Engineering" developed by "TUS Solution" are used. Currently, about 30 intellectual solutions are actively used in research and development work. In the research execution process, researchers carry out the tasks they have taken on, discuss and improve them as a unified research team, and further with consultants.
3. How do you form your research team? Is there an age limit?
Since 2018, we have selected about 280 researchers who have worked with us to form the “Development Members,” which account for about 70 percent of the total resources of the research team. The remaining 30 percent are recruited through open selection, which requires a master’s degree or higher in a specific field. Researchers who meet the three criteria of the open selection process, the application stage, the test stage, and the interview stage, are contracted to work in the research team.
4. Do you collaborate with universities? Is it possible to do internships at your place?
We collaborate with universities to collaborate with faculty on specific research areas, train students in systems engineering methods, and implement internship programs. You can contact our organization to inquire whether your school officially collaborates with us, or you can submit a proposal to us as an individual student.
5. What types of training are offered? What are the specific advantages?
We organize training courses for individuals and organizations. We develop training programs based on knowledge gained through research, so we offer content that is systematic, clearly grounded, and practically applicable.
6. Are there any criteria or requirements to become a member of the institute?
For individual members, there are categories such as Young Researcher Member, Supporting Member, Developer Member, Creator Member, and Disseminator Member. To become a Developer, Creator, or Disseminator Member, the criteria are to have worked effectively with us in the past, while there are no specific criteria for Young Researcher Member or Supporting Member. All you need to do is send us your application.
